Weekend Update

After surviving D's first week back at school, we closed the week out by hosting a party at our home for a small-ish group of first and second year students. I'm not sure how many people showed up--maybe 30-40. It was fun meeting new friends and seeing old ones too. Saturday we took Lola to the dog park and met our friends and their dogs there. We lounged around the rest of the afternoon, took a nap, and then headed out Saturday night for the b-school luau in our best Hawaiian garb. Today, D had a Fantasy Football draft, and I finished up some chores around the house. We just got back from eating out with friends and are gearing up for D's second week of his second year.
