So, we're really not the best of bloggers, as is evidenced by the two weeks it's been since the last post. Our apologies to our friends and family who check out this blog. Anyway, it's been a hectic two weeks, especially for D, who survived his first quarter exams! Classes start back tomorrow, after a couple days break, so the madness begins again.
We had a great weekend, getting to spend some time together. Friday night was the 100 case party, an 80s themed event for all the first year students. It was way fun seeing everyone's outfits--what were we thinking back then! Saturday was football day, and the Hoos came out with a surprise win! Today was a gorgeous drive on Skyline Drive. The leaves are changing colors and are so pretty. The mountain views on our picnic were breathtaking.
D had a networking event, and I had my girls dinner night. It sounds like a broken record, but time really is flying by. The holidays will be upon us before we know it. Heck, Halloween is barely two weeks away.
