It's our third day into the new week. It's D's third day at school and my third day at the new job. We're hanging in there.
D's class is divided up into smaller sections, so he met his section mates on Tuesday. His class is also divided up into Learning Teams of 5 people, one from each section. So, he had his first Learning Team meeting last night to prepare for his case studies today. Suffice it to say, D is going to get better and better at time management with all the case readings, team reviews and preparation for the next day's class (not to mention all the club meetings, social events, networking, etc. that will take place in the next couple of months).
I have been meeting lots of new people at work. Everyone is so nice, which is what attracted me to the job in the first place. I have also been doing some training sessions, so things are starting to fall into place.
We've been meeting tons of new people and socializing, so Lola hasn't gotten enough attention these past couple of days. As we get into a new routine, she'll be much happier.
Time to go watch the Olympics. Hope our friends and family are doing well! Drop us a line to let us know what's new with you. And, let us know if you're planning a trip up this way anytime soon!
