Over this past weekend, our life was like a Christmas b-movie. We were in New York all last week. And, wouldn't you know it--a snow storm came in the day we were scheduled to fly out of the city. Flights were canceled, so we had to stay in NYC for an extra night. We checked our flights the next day, and it showed on time. But, by the time we got to the airport from our hotel, our flight had been canceled. Rather than chance getting stuck in the city again or getting bumped from our rescheduled flight, we decided to rent a car to get out of town.
We arrived safely back in C'ville around 1 a.m. and immediately started a load of laundry. Sunday, we picked Lola up from the doggie spa and then spend a second day in the car--this time driving to Atlanta. We are finally with A's family!
We've spent this holiday week mostly at our house in Smyrna, getting the yard cleaned up and staging the house for round 2 of trying to sell. We are trying a new agent, and he is extremely enthusiastic about selling the house. Keeping our fingers crossed for better results this time.
Otherwise, we are looking forward to spending time in the Atlanta area with family and friends as much as possible. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
