Well, the much anticipated day has come and gone. Our tiny, sweet, newborn baby girl is now 1 year old. And, she has come a long way in that year. She is becoming her own person, with a sense of self and independence; with a loving, laughing spirit; with a sweet, mischevious smile and a warm, funny giggle. I am loving the person she is becoming. I treasure each milestone, though it pains my heart a little to see her grow up so fast--such are the trials and tribulations of parenthood.
